Services Terms and Conditions

Sarah Lorien – All Ages Creative Academy
Effective Date: 26 January 2026

These Services Terms apply to all paid services provided by Sarah Lorien trading as All Ages Creative Academy (“I”, “me”, “my”), including but not limited to 1-1 sessions, coaching, tuition, workplace training, group training, consulting, and custom design services (“Services”).

By purchasing, booking, or participating in any Service, you (“the client”) agree to these Services Terms, which operate alongside the main Website Terms and Conditions and any applicable disclaimers.

1. Scope of Services

Services may include, depending on the engagement:

  • 1-1 coaching, tuition, or support sessions
  • Group training, workshops, challenges, or workplace training
  • Consulting or advisory services
  • Custom or personalised design services
  • Live or online delivery formats

Services are provided on a time-based and/or scope-based basis, as outlined at the time of booking or engagement. No specific results, outcomes, or deliverables are guaranteed.

2. Pre-Session Consultation (Where Applicable)

For certain services, a complimentary 15-minute consultation may be required before the booked service takes place.

This consultation is used to:

  • confirm suitability
  • clarify goals and scope
  • determine whether work is outcome-based or time-based
  • provide an indicative time estimate only

No preparation, detailed review, or hands-on work is undertaken during this consultation.

Time estimates are indicative only and based on the information provided at that time.

3. Client Preparation & Materials

To ensure services are effective, clients may be required to provide relevant materials, files, links, or background information in advance.

Where preparation is required:

  • materials must be provided by the deadline specified (typically 48 hours prior)
  • preparation may include review of files, planning, or scoping
  • preparation time forms part of service delivery

Failure to provide materials in advance may:

  • reduce what can be achieved within the booked time
  • require additional paid time
  • result in work being deferred or limited to general guidance

4. Time-Based Services & Estimates

Many services are delivered on a time-based basis.

You acknowledge that:

  • all time estimates are indicative only
  • actual time required may vary due to complexity, decision-making, feedback, or scope changes
  • I work efficiently but cannot guarantee completion of a task within a specific timeframe

Where additional time is required:

  • it must be agreed and paid for before work continues
  • additional time may be offered subject to availability

5. Working to Task or Working to Time

Where relevant, services may be delivered:

to complete a defined task, or

to achieve the best possible outcome within an agreed time allowance

This approach will be clarified during consultation or prior to commencement. Budget or time limits will be respected where communicated clearly.

6. Access, Accounts & Platforms

Clients are responsible for:

  • maintaining access to required platforms (e.g. Canva, Zoom)
  • ensuring files are editable and accessible
  • holding appropriate licences for any third-party assets

I am not responsible for:

  • limitations imposed by third-party platforms
  • access issues caused by account permissions, subscription changes, or platform outages

7. Feedback, Advice & Professional Opinion

Feedback and recommendations are provided based on professional experience and training.

You acknowledge that:

  • all feedback is advisory, not mandatory
  • final decisions remain with you
  • recommendations are not a judgement of prior work or ability

You may accept or decline any suggestions made during services.

8. Copy, Content & Licensing Responsibility

Services do not include copywriting unless expressly agreed.

You remain responsible for:

  • accuracy of all text, names, prices, dates, links, and details
  • proofreading and final approval
  • ensuring appropriate licences for fonts, images, templates, or other assets

I do not verify factual accuracy or licensing status of materials supplied or selected.

9. Ownership of Work

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • all final outputs created during services belong to the client
  • no ownership is claimed over your designs or materials

This does not transfer ownership of any third-party templates, assets, or licensed materials.

10. Scheduling, Late Arrivals & Interruptions

Session times are booked for a fixed duration.

You acknowledge that:

  • sessions start and end at the scheduled time
  • late arrival by the client does not extend the session
  • session time continues regardless of client-side technical issues

If a session is interrupted due to issues on my end, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate or reschedule where appropriate.

11. Cancellations & Refunds for Services

Services may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund provided preparation has not commenced.

The 7-day period is calculated from the date of purchase, not the scheduled service date.

Once preparation has commenced:

  • services become non-refundable
  • in exceptional circumstances, a partial credit may be offered at my discretion

All services must be booked and completed within 4 weeks of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Live Group Sessions & Training

For live group sessions, workshops, or training:

  • attendance is optional unless stated otherwise
  • replays are provided only where explicitly stated
  • no refunds are provided for missed sessions where access has been granted

Where a session is cancelled or rescheduled by me, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a replacement session or recording.

13. Results & Outcomes Disclaimer

Services are provided for educational, advisory, and creative support purposes only.

I make no guarantees regarding:

  • learning outcomes
  • business results
  • income, performance, or success

Outcomes depend on many factors outside my control, including client engagement, experience, environment, and implementation.

14. Good Faith & Professional Conduct

Both parties agree to act professionally, respectfully, and in good faith throughout the engagement.

I reserve the right to decline or discontinue services where:

  • conduct is abusive or inappropriate
  • expectations are misaligned
  • continued engagement would be unproductive or unsuitable

15. Governing Law

These Services Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
